Membership

Baptized Members

Through Holy Baptism, all who believe are made members of the one, holy, apostolic Church. Those who are baptized into the Triune Name and who have committed themselves to the spiritual care of this congregation and its pastor are considered baptized members (including infants) . Baptized members should attend faithfully and gladly hear the and learn the Word of God so that they might be strengthened in faith and grow in the knowledge of their baptismal identity.

Communicant Members

Those who, after receiving instruction, affirm the confessions of the Lutheran Church (as explained in Martin Luther’s Small Catechism) are invited to receive the Sacrament of the Altar.

Communicant members confess their ongoing unity of faith with this congregation and its church body—the Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod.

Those new to our congregation who wish to receive this gift may speak to Pastor Doebler.

Voting Members and Transfer of Membership

A Voting Member is a Communicant Member who has reached his/her18th birthday. Once a member has read and signed the constitution of the congregation, he/ she shall be entitled to a vote.

A voting member is expected to attend meetings of the Voters' Assembly and participate in the other activities of the congregation as the Lord gives strength and ability.

Please reach out to our office to request a copy of the church constitution and bylaws.

Members of sister LCMS churches who wish to transfer their membership to Trinity may request a transfer after speaking with Pastor Doebler.
