Sunday School Registration Form (Pre-K through 5th grade)
In a Nutshell…
Our Sunday School program meets from 9:00-9:45 AM September-June. During this time, children are taught the Word of God on their level through story, song, and activities. The focus of our children’s curriculum is the Story of the Faith. Over a three-year cycle, children are taught all the foundational stories of the Bible.
Sunday Morning Routine
Parents, here’s what you can expect on a Sunday morning (beginning September 7):
(9:00) Sunday School Opening: Everyone (children, youth, and adults) gathers in the Sanctuary for a brief time of singing, reciting the Apostles’ Creed, recitation from the Small Catechism, and prayer.
(9:05) Dismissal to Sunday School: Children Pre-K through 5th grade are led to their classrooms by their teachers. The youth and adults remain in the sanctuary for Pastor’s Bible Study.
(9:45) Return from Sunday School: The children are brought back into the sanctuary to rejoin their parents. Sunday School/Pastor’s Bible Study concludes.
(10:00) Divine Service begins.
How to Register for Sunday School
If you would like for your child (Pre-K through 5th grade) to participate in our Sunday School program, then please download, print, and fill out one form for each child.
Bring the completed form with you and give it to a Sunday School volunteer/teacher when they are led from the Sanctuary to their classroom. (Note: ALL volunteers in the children’s Sunday School have been screened according to the protective standards recommended by Ministry Safe.)
If you are not able to fill out this form in advance, don’t worry, we have extras available for you.
NOTE: All youth (6th-12th grade) are invited to attend Pastor Doebler’s Bible class (currently meeting in the sanctuary). Registration forms are not necessary for this class if a parent/guardian is also present.
